One of the most well-known and popular programming languages is Java. It is a platform independent programming language. Java doesn’t require you to rewrite the entire program for every possible platform. Java Virtual Machine and Java Bytecode are used to support platform independence. Any JVM operating system can run this platform-independent bytecode. The application starts after the JVM has translated the bytecode into machine code. Because Java programmers can run on multiple systems without having to be rewritten for each platform, the language is called “Write Once, Run Anywhere”. (WORA).
