Jharkhand is a state in eastern India. The state is bordered by the Indian state of Bihar to its north, Uttar Pradesh to its north-west, West Bengal to its east, Chhattisgarh to its west and Odisha to its south.It is the 15th largest state in India by area, and the 14th largest by population.
